Scotch Plains Picks Up Christmas Trees

The DPW will begin free Christmas tree pickup on or about January 20, 2026. The trees should be placed at the curb with all ornaments and tinsel removed. No wreaths or garland please. If you wish to dispose of the tree yourself, bring it to the Department of Public Property yard, 2445 Plainfield Ave. before Thursday, January 30, 2026.
